Privacy Policy

In short: we only collect what you type into our contact form, use it only to answer your request, never sell it, and delete it when it is no longer needed. There are no tracking or advertising cookies on this site.

2. What we collect
When you submit the contact form we receive:
- your name, work email and company;
- your phone number, if you choose to give it;
- the service you are interested in and your message;
- your confirmation that we may contact you about this request.
Like any website, our hosting providers also process technical data such as your IP address and browser type for a short time, to deliver the page and protect it against abuse.
3. Why we use it and on what legal basis
- To reply to your enquiry and prepare an offer — steps taken at your request before entering into a contract (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)).
- To keep the site and form secure and free of spam — our legitimate interest (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)).
We do not use your data for automated decision-making or profiling, and we do not add you to a newsletter unless you separately ask us to.
4. Who processes it for us
We use a small number of trusted providers, bound by data processing agreements:
- Amazon Web Services — hosts the website and processes the contact form (Stockholm, EU region).
- Cloudflare — DNS and forwarding of email sent to our domain.
- Our email provider — where we receive and answer your message.
Some of these providers are global companies that may access data from outside the EU; where that happens, transfers are covered by the EU Standard Contractual Clauses or the EU–US Data Privacy Framework. We never sell or share your data with anyone else.
5. How long we keep it
We keep enquiries for up to 24 months after our last conversation, so we have context if you get back in touch. If you become a client, project correspondence is kept for as long as Romanian accounting and contract law requires. You can ask us to delete your enquiry at any time.
6. Cookies and local storage
We use no tracking, analytics or advertising cookies. Your browser stores two small technical items on your device only: your light/dark theme choice, and an anonymous session identifier used to securely send the contact form. Neither identifies you.
7. Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask us to access, correct, delete or export your data, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to withdraw your consent at any time. Email hello@mkdigitaladvisory.com and we will reply within one month.
If you think we have handled your data incorrectly, you can complain to the Romanian data protection authority, ANSPDCP (dataprotection.ro), or to the authority in your own EU country.
8. Security
The site is served only over encrypted HTTPS connections, the contact form is protected against automated abuse, and access to submitted data is limited to the people who answer your enquiry.
9. Changes
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page.
